Wir sind dann um 11 einigermassen ausgeschlafen zu Caroline's Hostfamily ruebergegangen (-->Caroline wohnt in ihrem eigenen kleinen Gaestehaus) und haben bei Kaffee ein wenig geratscht und mit den Kleinen gespielt.
Um ca.12 dann haben wir uns auf den Weg nach St.Louis gemacht, wo wir die Cathedral anschauen wollten.
Mittagessen war @ Tacobell, oefter mal was neues*lol*
Die Kirche ist traumhaft, es ist eine Mosaikkirche, aber soo toll gestaltet und einfach atemberaubend!!!
Wir haben dann die Kirche ausgiebig bewundert und auf einmal hat mich eine alte Frau gefragt, ob wir denn nicht bei ihrem Abendgebet mitmachen wollen. Weil ich nicht unhoeflich sein wollte, habe ich halt ja gesagt, ich dachte, ein kurzes Gebet und dann hat sich der Fall...
Naja, wir haben dann eine Viertelstunde damit verbracht, Litaneien zu beten, von denen ich eh nur die Haelfte verstanden habe, aber der Blick auf Caroline war einfach goettlich: sie ist der komplette Atheist und ist in der Kirche gelandet zum Litaneien beten*lol*
Nach all der Anstrengung hatten wir uns einen Kaffee verdient und sind wieder mal bei Starbucks auf einen Vanille Mocha eingekehrt...
So laesst sichs nicht schlecht leben:-)
